Little did Kyle know, our latest session at Davis Island Beach would be the most unforgettable yet. Gabi reached out to me the moment she found out she was pregnant, so eager to capture his reaction on super 8 film along with 35mm film.
To set the stage, Gabi concocted a clever plan. She told Kyle that they were helping me with a last-minute photo shoot for a publication—a little white lie to ensure his genuine surprise. Ever the supportive husband, Kyle agreed without a hint of suspicion. The golden hues of the setting sun at Davis Island Beach provided the perfect backdrop for this life-changing moment. As we began the shoot, I could feel Gabi’s excitement bubbling just beneath the surface.
